About Alyson
Hi, I am Alyson Pittman--a graduate from Kennesaw State University with a BBA in Marketing. I have always seen myself in one industry: entertainment. I have acquired skills in advertising, marketing, event planning, market research, promotions, public relations, and social media through internships and collegiate education. I have used Google Drive (Docs, Calendar, Pages, Spreadsheets, etc.), as well as Hootsuite, all social network platforms, YouTube Live, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Light Room, Photoshop and many other tools. I have created budgets, PR plans, editorial calendars, One Sheets, social media posts, graphics, and worked on email marketing.
In my three internships, I was able to acquire multiple skills that I can assure I will always bring with me in each project. From creating social media posts to planning monthly social media campaigns, I have learned the ins and outs of marketing via social networking platforms. I have planned huge events, worked with sponsors and partnerships, and so much more. I have also acquired basic office skills, customer relations skills, worked behind the scenes and at the forefront of events/concerts. In my college career, I took on many small positions within my sorority, as well as the position of Social Chair. In this position, I planned several events (including a weekend-long trip at the Super Dome in New Orleans) with 700+ people at each one. I learned how to find sponsors, venues, caterers, and promptly promote an event. I am now doing social media marketing and many other freelance positions. In the positions, I am creating email campaigns, email newsletters, content calendars, social media graphics and posting on social media based on different insights.
